Thank you to all who write Reviews for my books. It so greatly appreciated and humbling that you like my work.
From a fan..."People don't know what they are missing if they are not picking up your books." Jack & Ginny J.  2/24

The Very Best review I could possibly receive came yesterday when I was told this. -

"That's my book that Jimmy wrote for me." - Coletta Z.

Our 3.8 yr old great-niece said that to someone visiting and saw the book. One never knows what children retain, but that...made my heart sing.

"Mystery at Indian Rocks Beach is such a wonderful book. Your writing makes me feel good and at peace. I tell my friends that I know a real author! Thank you for your writing and books."

 - Rose J. (top fan)

"Your book arrived yesterday. I started reading it last night and couldn't put it down. Love It! I can't wait for bedtime so I can continue reading it.!!!"

- Pam & Bill C  (two of the major characters in the story.)

"I just finished the book Mystery at Indian Rocks Beach.  What a wonderful story.  I could not put it down.  Another good job my friend."- Joyce M.

"First of all, I just love the way this cover 'feels.'  The sayings are very comforting and the pictures are so beautiful! You are right, it is a great book to refer to often to make you feel good. I like it so much, that I bought some for gifts, "

- Rose J (top fan)

"Larry loves your Book of Life Wisdom Quotes. It has been uplifting for him. - R.B.

"5.0 out of 5 stars Moving story.

Literally could not put it down. Jim's faith is awesome and inspiring.  -Jack J. Amazon

"I loved the book. I was going Wow! Loved your references from Sarah Young. It was so personal to me. Thank you for writing this book. Reading all of your books is very uplifting to me." - Rose J.

"Jim, 'Hey, I'm Talking to You!... God' arrived this morning. Just finished it cover to cover. Could not put it down. I've never been one to read (not even textbooks) but I was hooked on the story, your ups and downs, and how, over the years, God lead the way. Truly an inspiration and a strong reminder that a strong faith in God can carry you through seemingly insurmountable challenges. Well done my friend...BULLSEYE." - Jack J.

"Thank you Jim for sharing this book. We all need to have this book in our library. There is no one who hasn’t gone through hard times or heartbreak in their lives!"  - Pat B.

"I just finished reading your latest book. You are and have been such an inspiration to me, and my girls. Reading the details was difficult and I can only imagine enduring what you did was incredibly difficult.

Thank you for being you. We love you". - Sharon S.

"Even though I am not in pain at the moment, should I need help, I know who to turn to.

This was a powerful story. Everyone should read it!" - Marge S.

"It was painful to read Jim’s account of the last 25 years because I remember all of it. The accident, the pain, his disability, the agonizing decisions, the surgeries, the long recoveries, and then the disappointment of lackluster results.

Through it all, neither Nancy nor Jim became bitter or relied on things to dull the reality of their situation. Instead, they leaned into God and God brought them through it! God took the broken pieces of Jim’s body and made them whole AND he was happy to do this for Jim! A true testament to God’s love for us!

This book is proof that God loves us beyond our understanding. And if we put our faith and trust in him there is hope for the future no matter the circumstance. May this book bring hope and peace to those that are hurting. It did for me.

- Mary S.

"Your new book is Awesome!"- Mary J.

"This morning, my wife finished reading "Hey, I'm Talking to you! God".  (After I read it I put it in her "to read" pile.)  She was really exited about the book and even went on to say "The author is from Erie, you might know him".  The rest is history and we had a good laugh.  But, I have orders to stock up on James DeHaven books.  Being second on her list to Daniel Steele ain't bad.  I'll be placing an order today.  Keep writing my friend, keep writing.  People dont know what they are missing if they are not picking up your books.

- Jack & Ginny J.

What a bargain...15 short stories in one book at a single book price. These are so meaningful. Jim writes from his heart. You will see what he sees in ordinary life observations. I know you will enjoy each and every one of them." - Nancy D.

"I got my copy and I know everyone will enjoy this read. The best thing is that you can re-read your favorites over and over. Great job Jim. - Rose B.

"Reading James M DeHaven (my brother-in-law) newest book (#15)! Great stories! Pick up your copy today."  - Jim B.

"Author James DeHaven has put forth a nice collection of heartwarming, interesting, and easy-to-read stories about life and nostalgic times. I highly recommend this anthology to kick back, relax, and enjoy reading once again." - Scott Canfield, author.

"'The Sleep Whisperer' story is very clever. A mother wants her children to fall asleep, but it also teaches them to grow their imaginations." - 'The Dog and Cat' story is an unique idea that everyone who has ever loved an animal would like to believe it could be true."- Lois B.

"A Collection of Poems and Musings" is like a message from the soul of the author from God for all of us. It is so inspiring."

- Lois B.

"The poem for your parents...made me cry."

- Marge S.

"I read your book of poems by the light of my Christmas tree last night. It's full of comfort and joy!"

- Mary Lou S

"Where did you come up with that unique ending?"  I Loved the story."  Denise F.

"Just finished your wonderful book. Jim, you are a master of writing...This was a book meant for me. I believe in guardian angels and I feel that I have more than one. I talk about angels all the time to my young 5 yr old grandsons. I have chills. This was a true masterpiece." - Rose J.

"This book is not only a beautiful love story but a love story founded in the soul. This type of love can’t be found in the trial and error relationships, but it will be found with God’s timing and your faith."

- Lois B.

"How many people can get so close to being in love, yet be so distant due to personal life decisions, challenges, and careers. Running back into each other again and again only to lose each other! Lucy and Luke were two souls in love forever... and will be forever, finally! Lots of twists and turns in each other’s lives right from the beginning! Certainly, a unique love story that is hard to put down!" - Pete D.

"What a great book. I had to tell you right away. I read it twice already.  I am a guy, but I shed a tear too. - Ron J.

"I am in awe of your writing style and your ability to tell a story.   You do a great job of explaining in detail the situation so that the reader becomes a part of it.  I could completely relate to being at Peek’n Peak after the lifts shut down and skiing down in the quiet solitude.  The Vail sequence was spot on." - Karen A.

"Loved the book A Love Lost in Time!!!  I couldn't put it down!!!!  Shed a few tears but the storyline was great!!!  How fate runs thru our life!  Keep writing!"  - Judi K.

"I finished the book last night...great story, Jim!! You know I think my favorite line was...how God gave us free will so he could experience life through each of us (free translation). Thank you for the book, it's a very special story."  - Janice F.

"This is a simple, feel-good story of two people whose souls serendipitously cross paths throughout their lives. It is sweet and innocent, a lovely read about love separated and how life often holds some hearts apart. The tone is quiet, patient, and the novel has a mighty ending that overpowers the simplicity of its chapters. DeHaven concentrates on the mundane through much of the book, then surprises readers with a profoundly spiritual ending. An easy read. Loved."

- Author CJ Zahner

"Star-crossed lovers unite in a Christian romance

Missed opportunities and personal choices intervene to keep Luke and Lucy from realizing their dream of a life together. This memoir-like work of fiction relies on reflective narrative rather than a fast moving plot, alternating between male and female points of view to tell their love story. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian romance." - Author W D Pyle

"I just finished A Love Lost in Time. Oh My! That had to be the Best book I ever read. What a GREAT WRITER he is. What  a love story. It should be a Hallmark movie...all the "Erie" locations and the names like Lucy, Lois, etc., the Peak - then Clearwater, Tampa. I could just go on and on. It just made it even more heatwarming.  - Donna M.

"This story needs a sequel." - Denise F.

"I love the storyline that finally brings to fruition our first female President. And she does such a great job of it!"  - Nancy D.

"That nuclear military sequence had me on the edge of my seat." - Anonymous

"From the very beginning, the threat of a nuclear disaster was so prevalent! The American President was not in control and the people smart enough to be on the hidden island needed to stop him! Taken right out of today’s news headlines of leaders around the world threatening each other ready to press those buttons!  Well.... this story really should be made into a suspense movie. Great read! - Derek P.

"I just finished reading Sanctuary Island. It was a nice easy read. A lot of research must have gone into writing it. Suspenseful. Also, a feel-good peaceful ending. "

- Donna M

"I really, really, really, like this book. Please write a sequel."

- Denise F.

"Your book was so uplifting and inspirational. The way you weaved your story around moral truths was magical." - Dr. Bill M.

"Keep writing your positive life lesson message. The new generation needs more role models like you to share their ideals."  - Roger L.

"I just finished Soul Survivor and I am impressed, maybe someday I will be able to write as well as you do. My favorite chapter was The Talk."  - RJB

"Great Work! Your story meshes God and Science together seamlessly. Finally, they can co-exist! You brought to light Scientific proof that life would not exist without God's hand in creation! Congrats on a great story and great read!"

- Mary S.

"This is such an interesting story. It is moving, inspirational, and draws you in all the way to the end with great characters and an interesting twist the character does within the story regarding the book title."

- Nancy D.

"This should be a Hallmark movie. I highly recommend the "Workbook Supplement." It was full of definitions, explanations, related Bible verses, and additional information from the author. It adds so much to the read."

- Pete D.

"I sat down last night and read it from cover to cover. It's your best book yet. I can imagine the hours you spent researching as your story unfolded. Your conclusions, in my opinion, are spot on, and I came away with a new appreciation for God within and among us. I hope that the souls who read it are changed forever. Great title, great gift in so many ways. Thank you for sharing this with us. I will be re-reading it again and again."

- Mary B.

"I just read your book - Twice! It's a book you can't put down.  After reading it the first time, I looked up the references and re-read it. It was even better! I never knew all that stuff, especially about stardust and water. I lent it to my priest and when I get it back, I am going to read it again!"

- Ron J.

"You should be a writer."  Mr. F. - College professor.

This is a beautiful, sweet story written only like James DeHaven can do. I loved every single character in this novel. The author's unwavering optimism and love of life comes through in every chapter. DeHaven has a talent for seeing the beauty in the simplest moments of life and in the quietest of people. We can all learn much from seeing life through his eyes.

I patiently await his next novel.

If you need a sweet read in this tumultuous time, try Ghost Coach! - Author CJ Zahner

* This book just won the 2022 American Writers Finalist Award

The author's first foray into the Science Fiction genre.

But by no means lacking in adventure, or romance as they are cleverly interwoven into the story. A special treat is the author's abundant use of current scientific principles, theories, and hypotheses based on the latest information. A real treat for both sides of your brain.

This is definitely another one of his books that needs to be made into a movie. - NKD

"I hope there is a sequel, it can't end here." John F.

"Zack just came downstairs and said, "There HAS to be another book after this. He can't leave the ending like that, 'what's the wonderful news?"  He absolutely loved the book. - Mother of John F.

"An excellent resource for realigning one's view of life. Especially valuable as a type of literary GPS

for those feeling lost with life issues, health problems, or setbacks in family or personal life."

 - W. J. Kowalski PHD, Clinical Psychologist.

"Your book is a treasure of inspiration, and tribute to God." - Thank you, Joan Zieg

"Well written and researched. A very positive approach to explaining life and God & Nature.

It is well researched and very biblically based with plenty of references to guide the reader to

understanding where the in the Bible the information is grounded. Simple yet profound gifts, left over from Eden are explained and  will be an inspiriation to any reader.

A must read for the sick, lonely, and downtrodden. It WILL lift your sprits. A parellel offering of

Native American sayings are also provided which are equally uplifiting and provide another culture based proof of the belief of a greater spirit that lives in all of us and in everything." - NKD

"This is the First book the author wrote. It is a very moving tale about a young orphan girl and her Christmas Wish that brings a special couple and a young girl together in a way that affects the whole town.

The descriptions of the town and its characters seem painted onto the pages so as to give the reader

his or her own  personal images of this special place. Well done for a first book."   - Nancy K.

Very interesting. I wasn't a fan of robotics, but the facts presented made the story plausible.

I like the currents facts about robotics listed in the back.  I had no idea how current this information is. It is fascinating.

- Mary B.

It was so fun to read about your growing up. Weaving together old family history and the neighborhood where you lived as a child was fascinating. We should all have childhoods like this.

- Nancy K.

"Just finished reading PFH.  Awesome learning family history. Great Job! Enjoyed reading it!" - Lori W.

A bible study resource book based on a Sunday School lesson featuring 10 ways that GOD has communicated to people since the beginning of time.  Each chapter provides a brief review of each method, followed by bible passages containing the methods for both the new and old testament.

It is a wonderfully simple revelation and guide of how GOD has - and continues to speak to us to this day. - Nancy D.

"Thank you so much for your book entitled "How Does God Communicate to Us?"  A beautiful resource for our libraries."

  +Bishop Gregory

"God give us many gifts, it is up to us to use them. Surely you are one of  his disciples.  You used your time and talent to exalt the only one deserving of our praise!  Thank you for the uplifting messages!"      - Mrs. Mary S.

I read the book and cried. I remember the song and the story, but the way you tell it here is very moving.

- M. S.

This Children's book is such a special story. A good Christian introduction for the little ones.

Just beautiful, and I love the illustrations.

- Nancy D.

A quick read. Fast, but to the point with how ethics and integrity never go out of fashion.

Not many pages, but it packs a big message to the youth.

- Mark D.
